Dyspepsia Signs and Symptoms

What are the symptoms of the dyspepsia?

Dyspepsia is a constant pain in the stomach. Constant pains include indigestion and heartburn. Another discomfort is nausea. Functional dyspepsia has no visible cause. Other forms may be identified by X-ray or endoscopy. A person suffering from dyspepsia may show lot of symptoms, which might include regurgitation (backwash of stomach contents into the esophagus or mouth), heartburn and prolonged abdominal fullness.

Some of the main signs and symptoms of dyspepsia may include:

  • Discomfort and pain in the upper abdomen.
  • A feeling of uncomfortable fullness soon after eating.
  • Bloating (a feeling of fullness in your stomach).
  • Flatulence.
  • Belching.
  • Regurgitation of food or acid.
  • Burning in chest region.
  • Belching of gas and acidic eruectations.
  • Vomiting.
  • Pain in stomach region.
  • Loss of appetite.
  • Foul taste and odour in the mouth.
  • Abdominal burning.
  • Upset stomach (Nausea).
  • Swelling.
